Protection from Safar Calamit Dua

Safar ki Dua Hadith
Reciting this dua before starting a journey has a historical foundation in the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). His (SAW) companions reported that he would recite dua e safar before embarking on a journey, making a precedent for Muslims to follow.
Such dua is narrated in Sahih Al Bukhari and Sahih Muslim and also narrated by Anas Bin Malilk, The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say:
“O Allah! I seek refuge with You from, and I return and divert to You from the hardships of the journey, from the evil of the surroundings, and from the bad fortune and from bad difficulties of disaster, and I return to You from the defeat of the enemy and from the gloating over the misfortune.”
